Local Development Plan
In October 2013, the Vale of Glamorgan Deposit Local Development Plan 2011 – 2026 was published for public comment. The plan set out proposals for planning policies and land use allocations for the Vale of Glamorgan area for the 15 year period. Penllyn Community Council carefully considered the Plan and decided that some proposals were unacceptable and adversely impacted on local communities. Following the initial consultation procedures undertaken by the Vale Council further alternative sites were proposed by individuals and organisations who considered that further sites should be allocated in the Plan; removed from the Plan or amended in some way. The Alternative Sites public consultation took place over the 6 week period from Thursday 20th March and ending on Thursday 1st May 2014. Copies of Community Council’s response to the proposals that they consider most affect the area are also attached.
